The Business Development Manager is part of the APAC BD team and reports directly to the Director, Business Development.
He/she focuses on a specific part of the A2C business and leads the business development of this sector.
MISSIONS / ACTIVITIES
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT :
- Track, identify, and analyze business trends in your dedicated business territory to identify the best potential opportunities and new markets to grow the business and identify new business opportunities.
- Strongly and actively support the Director, Business Development or Inside Sales Manager in defining the global strategic plan for your customer segments and markets.
- Identify, develop and manage strategic partnerships with customers, partners and suppliers to grow your business sector.
- Maintain a clear vision of the areas for improvement of the A2C and the points of attention necessary to adapt the company's strategic plan on a daily basis.
- Attend industry trade shows to explore new leads. Create and maintain a market network withproductive contacts with existing and potential customers. Maintain and expand your professional and technical knowledge by participating in educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
BUSINESS MANAGEMENT :
- Take responsibility to your customers to ensure top-notch sales and support.
- Identify, maintain and develop new contacts to identify new projects, requests and trends among your customers.
- Be the focal point and escalation point for the client and ensure a coordinated link between internal departments and clients.
- Propose process and policy improvements to optimize the entire business.
- Manage crises and escalations in the event of problems with customers
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT:
- Secure long-term business opportunities by identifying contract potential in line with the company's overall strategy.
- Propose and negotiate contract terms with clients by aligning with the recommendations of the contract management team.
- Share and ensure a clear and common understanding and execution of the terms of the contract with stakeholders.
- Work with Product Managers and Contract Managers to establish relevant and attractive contract proposals for long-term opportunities.
- Submit and follow up on sales contract proposals in cooperation with the contract management team.
- Conduct regular reviews of global contracts to ensure that contracts are executed as agreed.
PERFORMANCE & REPORTING :
- Escalate and share useful insights from customer and competitor data.
- Prepare customer reports, opportunity reports, and maintain a balanced pipeline of sales opportunities for your sales territory.
- Conduct market research, compile data, and prepare reports for sales and sales site management.
- Track and analyze historical data to determine order frequency, trends, and product lifecycles.
