Job Description & Requirement
1. Customer Service:
- Greet and assist patients, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
- Answer inquiries from patients, referring physicians, and other stakeholders.
- Schedule appointments for imaging services, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing concerns and providing information about procedures.
2. Appointment Coordination:
- Coordinate and schedule appointments for various imaging services (X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, etc.).
- Ensure proper documentation and communication of appointment details to patients.
- Work closely with medical staff to optimise scheduling and accommodate urgent cases.
3. Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate and organised patient records in the system, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Perform data entry tasks related to patient information and billing.
- Complete daily tracking of caseloads.
4. Billing and Insurance Verification:
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorisations for imaging services.
- Assist patients with Medisave claims submission for scans.
- Assist patients with billing inquiries, explaining charges and payment options.
- Collaborate with AHV Finance to ensure accurate and timely processing of claims.
5. Coordination with Medical Staff:
- Collaborate with radiologists, radiographers, and nurses to facilitate a smooth workflow.
- Ensure that patient records and imaging results are accurately communicated to the relevant healthcare providers.
- Ensure the timely delivery of reports to the relevant healthcare providers.
6. Facility Maintenance:
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organised reception area.
- Monitor and restock office supplies as needed.
- Monitor and restock Patient Beverage supplies.
7. Problem Resolution:
- Address and resolve issues related to patient appointments, billing, and general inquiries.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
8. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Adhere to privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives to ensure high standards of service.
