Duties and Responsibilities:
Dishwashing Duties:
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand.
- Ensure proper use of detergents and sanitizing agents.
- Inspect all cleaned items to ensure no food residue remains.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Clean and sanitize dishwashing area, sinks, floors, and equipment regularly.
- Take out kitchen garbage and recycling, and replace liners.
- Clean grease traps and empty food waste bins as needed.
Storage and Organization:
- Return clean dishes and equipment to appropriate storage areas.
- Keep dish racks, shelves, and carts organized.
Safety and Hygiene:
- Follow safety procedures when handling sharp items or hot equipment.
- Wear gloves, aprons, and non-slip footwear as required.
- Report any damaged dishware or faulty dishwashing equipment to supervisors.
