Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect for partnership with Secondary Schools, Tertiary Institutions, Community groups, Youth organisations and Companies.
- Assist in the marketing of activities and events to Sponsor, schools, youth communities and companies.
- Conceptualize youth-centric events to meet organisation objectives.
- Plan and manage virtual and onsite events, performances, exhibitions, conferences, etc.
- Manage, front and coordinate all events/project-related activities, from the point of project kick-off , actual project launch, implementation and wrap-up.
- Conceptualize, design, execute event publicity and collaterals.
- Laise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of the event.
- Project manage all events and activities including developing and coordinating schedules, logistic, resources and manpower requirements.
- Source for, acquire and transport necessary equipment, props, back-drop, sets, etc
- Facilitate on-site logistics, set-up, usage and tear down of all equipment, props, set-up, back-drop etc.
- Set-up technical requirements, including sound-systems, lights, and online conference platforms.
Job Skills Requirement:
- Familiarity with youth culture and interest.
- Experience in managing events, performances, conferences, online and on-site.
- Knowledge and experience in setting up, trouble-shooting and the smooth running of technical equipment such as sound-systems, lights, audio-visual, videos, projections, etc
- Excellent multi-tasking ability with an eye for details and aesthetics.
- Able to forecast and anticipate project requirements and plan adequately. Identifying obstacles, proactively mitigating risks and escalating issues to be resolved effectively and early.
- Resourceful and with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Track record in managing successful events.
- Familiarity with government funding platforms
- Excellent interpersonal, networking and communication skills.
- Savvy with social media, online communication and IT. Have your own laptop and mobile phone.
- Able to transport equipment and props to event site.
- Able to work independently and as a team player.
- Able to work on weekday evenings and weekends.
- Diploma in a relevant field.
