Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Planning Leader who will be responsible for overseeing and guiding SEA, South Korea, Japan, and Greater China overall planning strategy & execution. The ideal candidate will play a crucial business partnering role with developing & implementing strategic plans, managing resources, and ensuring alignment with market unit goals. He/She will lead and manage the Planning Team while fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Principal Accountabilities
Strategic Planning: develop and implement Market Units planning strategy & forward looking plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
Team Leadership: leading & managing planning team for market units, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
Resource Allocation: oversee allocation of resources (including budget & people) to support planning initiatives
Stakeholder Management: collaboration with (1)cross-functional leads in market units to ensure alignment & execution of plans; (2)US Supply Planning on short & long term risks and mitigation plans
Performance Management & Process Compliance: monitoring & evaluating effectiveness of planning process, making adjustments when needed, ensuring adherence to agreed planning process.
Continuous Improvement: Track performance with set KPI’s, Identify areas for process improvement within the demand and supply planning teams. Develop tools to facilitate monthly S&OP cycl
Skills, Know How and experience
Essential
- Minimum 7-years’ experience in leading planning team and S&OP for FMCG or Pharma industry
- Strong analytical skills
- Previous experience in a supply chain role supporting multiple stakeholders
- Proficient in statistics & forecasting methods with understanding of financial & operational impact; highly analytical and able to draw insights from large data
- Basic knowledge of SAP and JDA systems
- Advance knowledge in Excel and Microsoft office
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
Desirable
- Qualifications in Supply Chain managemen
