Our client, an international law firm, is looking for a Mandarin and English-speaking Legal Secretary to join their Disputes team in Singapore.The ideal candidate will have prior experience in supporting Arbitration lawyers and Chinese-speaking clients and enjoy working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full secretarial and administrative support to arbitration fee-earners.
- Handle digital dictation, email and diary management, and call handling professionally.
- Draft and format documents, letters, and correspondence (minimum typing speed: 60 wpm).
- Organise client/internal meetings, events, travel, and accommodation arrangements.
- Assist with document preparation for hearings, bundles, and briefing notes.
- Prepare presentation materials (e.g. PowerPoint slides).
- Manage and maintain physical and electronic filing (per firm standards).
- Proofread legal documents and correspondence with strong attention to detail.
- Coordinate client functions and assist with logistics and invitations.
- Assist with monthly billing, timesheet support, and expense claims.
- Support lawyers with conflict checks and client due diligence (CDD) documentation.
- Liaise with the London compliance team to ensure timely completion of CDD.
- Maintain client data in CRM systems (e.g., Interaction).
- Provide cover for other secretaries when required.
What We’re Looking For

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with legal systems.
