Reports to: Head of Project Management
Position Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to drive the delivery of Leo Cancer Care products into the market. As the product is comprised of multiple key sub-systems the role of the project manager will be to co-ordinate the development and delivery across the entire product range. The project manager will be responsible for providing updates on development progress and tracking against budget and project milestones.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- 5 years’ experience as a project manager, preferably in the medical device sector
- Recognized Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in creating, reviewing, and updating project documentation within a regulated environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and influence across cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience working in start-up or scale-up environments is preferred.
- Prior experience managing or coordinating remote/distributed teams is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the project schedule and delivery timelines for Leo Cancer Care’s product portfolio.
- Ensure products are developed and delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, in alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Champion the application of Leo’s ISO 13485-compliant quality system and support process adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, service, and supply chain teams to coordinate deliverables and optimize the master schedule.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution.
- Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and progress reports to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Leo Cancer Care and external development partners, ensuring alignment across sub-systems and workstreams.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive project documentation, including charters, risk registers, timelines, and milestone tracking.
- Identify and manage key project integration points and ensure seamless coordination across disciplines and phases.
