Job Description
Implementation of “SWIFT” Integrated Distribution Information System and “SWAN” Global Logistics Management System in Singapore, which is a global proprietary system owned and managed by The Sumitomo Warehouse Co., Ltd. (Head office in Japan).
An Integrated Warehouse Management and Tracking System which provides information on inventory and freight tracking in linkage with shipping company systems.
Able to lead, train and support users after implementation of the above systems.
Management and co-ordination of global supply chain for major Japanese Corporations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree
- Minimum 2 years of Management experience in a Major Logistics company with proven track records in System Implementation and Supply Chain Management
- Full proficiency in oral and written English and Japanese languages to liaise with Japanese associates in Head Office and customers globally
- Specialist knowledge of “SWIFT” Integrated Distribution Information System, “SWAN” Global Logistics Management System
- Candidate must possess an extensive knowledge of Japan Customs, Shipping and Import/Export Regulations
- A self-starter who is resourceful and initiates work without specific instruction in a structured and independent approach
