You will be a part of HPB’s Healthy Ageing Programmes Department, which strives to help seniors aged 50 years and over to improve and maintain their functional ability through healthy lifestyle practices and increase the quality and years of healthy life. The division is responsible for driving strategies, developing, implementing and reviewing programmes, including “Live Well, Age Well”, which was launched in 2022, in support of the Government’s Action Plan for Successful Ageing, to keep seniors active, engaged and productive.

[What you will be working on]
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
As a key member of the Healthy Ageing Programmes , you will work in a fast-paced environment, alongside a team of dynamic individuals to translate evidence-based healthy ageing strategies into scalable programmes and initiatives to encourage seniors to stay healthy and active.
More specifically, you will be required to oversee the development, planning and implementation of the nationwide scale-up of community frailty prevention programmes or equivalent, targeted at seniors at risk or showing early signs of frailty. This includes programme design with intention to scale, programme implementation, and programme evaluation (including but not limited to process, operational and outcome measures) to support iterative changes to programme design.
You will be working with diverse stakeholders including appointed vendors, healthcare clusters and educational partners to ensure robust programme delivery by adequately trained fitness trainers. You will also review programme curriculum, resources, risk management framework and processes to ensure efficient and quality programme delivery.
[What we are looking for]
BE PART OF THE TEAM
Join us if you are a dynamic and self-motivated individual with at least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in developing and implementing initiatives for seniors. You enjoy working in a fluid and fast-paced environment and should also possess:
- Good operations management and vendor management skills.
- Excellent inter-personal skills and emotional intelligence to manage internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to communicate effectively with verbal, written and presentation skills to present ideas and concepts
- Good analytical skills including programme evaluation skills
- Proven track record in managing effective programmes
In addition, having relevant qualifications or experience preferably in gerontology, public health or related disciplines will be an added advantage.
