About Us:
The Singapore Kindness Movement (SKM) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting kindness and graciousness in Singapore. We work towards inspiring individuals and organisations to internalise and practice values that promote harmony, respect, and consideration. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Manager (Partnerships - KSC) to join our team and play a crucial role in advancing our mission.
The Manager (Partnerships - KSC) develops the recruitment strategy for members of the Kindred Spirit Circle (KSC) and the reactivation strategy for passive KSC members. These members are considered volunteers of the Singapore Kindness Movement (SKM).
He/She evaluates volunteer management practices and develops volunteer training programmes as well as volunteer recognition and engagement programmes.
He/She projects the organisation’s requirements for volunteers, evaluates the effectiveness of volunteer partnerships and develops risk mitigation measures for volunteer programmes.
He/She evaluates volunteer management policies and processes and leads their implementation.
He/She plays an active role in conceptualising, planning, developing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing programmes to inspire small acts of kindness.
He/She reports to the Deputy Director (Partnerships) and the Executive Director.
The Manager (Partnership)’s job description is as follows:
- Educates, motivates and inspires partners to be advocates of kindness
- Leads and facilitates engagements and partnerships for KSC with primary focus on ground-up movements (GUMs), social enterprises (OKIEs) and ambassadors (VoLKs)
- Assesses projects and processes/disburses the Kindred Grant
- Builds relationships with GUMs and nurtures impactful collaborations
- Organises regular networking sessions with SKM
- Develops content and layout for The Kindred newsletter
- Manages and updates content on KSC-related digital platforms
- Acquires and inducts new members into KSC at SKM’s annual Kindness Day SG event
- Conducts media monitoring on KSC landscape
- Develops capabilities of KSC members
- Works closely with partners and key stakeholders to ensure SKM’s messages are aligned and seeks sponsorship where applicable
- Seeks out partnerships with other service providers and enablers to provide resources such as space and shared services to empower KSC members for their work
- Plans and executes partner-related events such as awards ceremony (Service Gold Award)
- Manages public-related events as and when necessary
- Exercises necessary procurement and practise good governance for all programmes and events
- Provides post-event and programme reports for review
