Summary:
As a Member of Technical Staff in the Technology Development department at Micron, you will be responsible for developing innovative Metrology techniques and equipment to measure critical process metrics and close inline detection gaps. The goal of this position is to accelerate cycles of learning by developing innovative solutions for detecting in line yield and process limiting issues. We need engineers who are passionate about learning new technology, equipment and processes to help detect problems early and strive to make changes for the better. This position will provide the opportunity for you to collaborate with engineers in process integration, process development, data science, metrology, RDA, and yield analysis within and outside Technology Development. Your ideas will have the ability to impact the team globally. You will be responsible for evaluations of new metrology equipment, recipe optimization, and collaboration with Micron and vendor teams to drive metrology roadmaps.

- We need someone who will investigate process anomalies, root cause analysis, data manipulation, and correlations.
Requirement:
- Requirement of MSC/PHD degree in STEM discipline such as Engineering, Physics, Material Science or related fields.
- Minimum of 10 years of equivalent experience in a 300mm semiconductor process engineering environment.
- Experience in the creation of metrology solutions for analyzing experimental process flows, anomalies, and process signatures for the characterization and monitoring of unit processes and modules.
- Must have a proven knowledge of semiconductor optical, X-ray, and/or e-beam metrology technologies.
- Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing metrology techniques and their application to 3D NAND process use cases.
- Demonstrated experience in semiconductor process technology transfer of recipes and techniques to TD and manufacturing partners for process flow volume ramp.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office, JMP, and programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, C, C++
