Responsibilities
- Prepare basic Bills of Quantities (BQ) and assist in cost estimation
- Generate quotations based on project scope and supplier inputs
- Source and liaise with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and timely delivery
- Understand project needs and align procurement accordingly
- Coordinate with site personnel to ensure materials and logistics are in place
- Maintain organized records of quotations, purchases and supplier communications
- Site support including generating work progress report, maintain organised archives of completed projects for reference, reporting and future planning, etc
Requirements
- Prior experience is preferred, but not required. On-job training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret basic project plans or specifications
- Comfortable working with multicultural teams and vendors
- Proficiency in Excel and basic documentation tools
