Key Responsibilities include:
The Regional Accountant assists the Finance Manager in overseeing all financial activities for the company's overseas businesses. This position ensures effective financial planning, reporting, compliance, and risk management to support regional growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with regional business objectives.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for overseas entities.
- Manage financial reporting, analysis, and performance metrics.
- Apply deep technical knowledge of accounting principles, reporting standards, and tax regulations; ensure compliance with local laws, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements in overseas jurisdictions.
- Lead and coordinate regional audit processes and internal control measures.
Qualifications and Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA qualification is an advantage.
- Initial career experience as an auditor is preferred.
- Proven experience in accounting, ideally with exposure to project accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years’ working experience, preferably in a regional or multinational business environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with regional financial regulations.
- High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills and strong organizational capabilities.
