Job Description:
- Coordinate sales and project support for main engine, dual-fuel engine, thruster, boiler, and ballast water systems.
- Manage import/export regulatory compliance for marine equipment across international markets.
- Arrange technical service and maintenance for onboard equipment with overseas clients and repair yards.
- Liaise with overseas branches to align operational standards, reporting directly to HQ management.
- Promote technical sales strategies and create performance reports aligned with corporate targets.
- Serve as a bridge for HQ-to-field culture exchange, especially across Asia. Execute ad hoc assignments as directed by the department manager.
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Applied Physics, Maritime Studies or equivalent field.
- 2–3 years of experience in technical sales, marine machinery, or relevant engineering roles.
- Practical knowledge of precision diagnostic equipment used for marine engine performance or condition-based monitoring is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with shipbuilding processes and global parts logistics will be highly regarded.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written) required.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Japanese Language is a must as the role is required to liaise with Japanese clients
- Proven ability to work in multicultural teams, especially within the shipbuilding and engineering supply chain sectors.
- Willingness to station in developing countries or regional sites based on project needs.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to interface with shipyard staff, dock engineers, and classification societies.
