The Opportunity:
As a Senior Recruiter on Everest's Global Talent Acquisition Team, you will be a key member of a high-performing, collaborative group that spans across regions and business lines.
You will lead strategic hiring efforts across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, covering all roles within Insurance and Reinsurance. This role is critical to shaping our regional talent landscape and ensuring we attract exceptional individuals who drive Everest's continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership & Execution
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, HR Business Partners, and hiring managers across APAC, aligning talent strategies with business goals.
- Provide market intelligence and data-driven insights to influence hiring decisions and workforce planning.
- Drive the execution of regional hiring strategies, ensuring alignment with global talent priorities.
- Mentor and support fellow recruiters, sharing best practices in sourcing, candidate engagement, and offer management.
Full-Cycle Recruitment & Sourcing Excellence
- Own and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for all roles across Insurance and Reinsurance functions in APAC.
- Design and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract diverse, high-caliber talent across multiple markets (e.g., Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, India).
- Lead candidate assessments, facilitate interview processes, and negotiate complex offers to secure top talent.
Candidate Experience & Brand Ambassadorship
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Everest, promoting our inclusive culture and compelling employee value proposition across the APAC talent market.
- Ensure a seamless, high-touch candidate experience that reflects our values and commitment to excellence.
Process Innovation & Technology
- Champion the use of recruiting technologies (e.g., Workday) to drive efficiency, data accuracy, and process consistency.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the effectiveness of the regional recruitment function.
- Contribute to global and regional talent acquisition projects aimed at scaling best-in-class hiring practices.
Qualifications:
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, with a strong track record of hiring across a diverse range of roles, including client-facing, operational, technical, and support functions.
- Demonstrated success recruiting across multiple APAC markets (e.g., Singapore, Australia, India), with a solid understanding of regional talent dynamics and cultural nuances.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions across varying levels of complexity, from entry-level to leadership roles.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence hiring decisions across business units.
- Proven sourcing expertise, including the ability to identify and engage passive candidates using creative and data-driven approaches.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience recruiting within the specialty insurance/reinsurance industry is preferred.
- Proficiency with Workday or similar applicant tracking systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform recruiting strategies.
