We are looking for a committed System Engineer to support our client, to maintain and provide support on enterprise IT infrastructure. The role focuses on Windows Server 2019, with limited involvement in Linux and VMware ESXi environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct system patching and maintain patch records
- Follow up on Vulnerability Assessment (VA) scan findings
- Monitor and verify backup jobs
- Perform bi-weekly user access reviews
- Maintain hardware inventory and lifecycle validity
- Coordinate server capacity planning
- Implement security configurations aligned with CIS standards
- Conduct system and infrastructure health checks
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Manage user accounts, including CyberArk for on-prem systems
- Administer Active Directory and DNS (user accounts, GPOs, CNAMEs)
- Prepare asset management reports for review
- Provision and manage virtual servers (vCenter, ESXi)
- Handle Level 2 incident management (alerts, server downtime, etc.)
- Manage infrastructure tools such as CyberArk, Veeam, WSUS, Symantec, TrendMicro, ManageEngine, and MSSP platforms
- Maintain firmware for ESXi hosts and vCenter
- Administer SMS Gateway routers and contact lists
- Support CIS configuration setups as needed
- Provide Level 2 support for infrastructure-related projects
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and support operational needs
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in system administration and infrastructure support
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, VMware, and enterprise backup solutions
- Familiarity with CIS compliance and vulnerability management
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and cybersecurity tools
- Good communication and incident response skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
