Overview:
Our client, a reputable international bank, is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual to support their Treasury team in Singapore. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong foundation in finance and quantitative analysis to gain front-to-middle office exposure in global markets, treasury operations, and investment strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Treasury Department to ensure efficiency and accuracy in transactions.
- Prepare regular reports, presentations, and documentation for both the Singapore Branch and Head Office.
- Conduct market research and assist in the analysis of global investment strategies.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure compliance with risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Provide administrative and coordination support, and take on ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Department Head.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Banking, Finance, Economics, Quantitative Statistics, or other STEM-related disciplines.
- Strong proficiency in analytical tools such as Python, R, Excel, or VBA is preferred.
- Effective communication skills in both English and Mandarin to interact with internal and external stakeholders across the region.
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior internship or working experience in financial institutions is a plus. Candidates with certifications such as CFA or FRM will be viewed favourably.
