Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Veeva CRM Business Consultant to join our Commercial Operations IT team. In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, supporting the optimization and ongoing management of our Veeva CRM platform. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Veeva CRM in a life sciences or pharmaceutical environment and is comfortable gathering requirements, analyzing business needs, and driving system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams for all Veeva CRM-related needs.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Veeva CRM enhancements and integrations.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and work with developers and vendors to ensure successful implementation.
- Configure and maintain Veeva CRM functionality (e.g., user profiles, call reporting, account management, multichannel coordination).
- Perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and assist in validating Veeva CRM changes and deployments.
- Provide training and support to end-users; create documentation and user guides as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Compliance, and IT to ensure alignment and platform optimization.
- Monitor system performance, manage issues, and recommend improvements.
- Stay up to date with Veeva CRM releases and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working with Veeva CRM, preferably in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Solid understanding of commercial pharma operations, salesforce effectiveness, and CRM workflows.
- Experience in requirement gathering, gap analysis, and documentation.
- Familiarity with data integrations between Veeva and other systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, MedPro, MDM).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Veeva Vault, Veeva CLM, or other Veeva products.
- Prior experience in project management or Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in life sciences (e.g., Sunshine Act, GDPR, HIPAA).
