Location: East Region
Working Hours: 8am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday
Start Date: Immediate or within short notice
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of WSH management systems in compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
- Identify workplace hazards, propose corrective actions, and ensure timely implementation of control measures.
- Facilitate toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety documentation such as RA, incident reports, inspection records, and safety training logs.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and authorities on all safety matters.
- Monitor site activities to ensure ongoing compliance and enforce safe work procedures.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure readiness at all times.
Requirements:
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) is mandatory.
- Attended WSH Coordinator Refresher Training Course (Within 2-years validity)
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a WSH Coordinator role.
- Solid knowledge of Risk Assessment (RA) principles and practical application.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must demonstrate punctuality, good attendance, and a strong commitment to the agreed contractual working hours. Applicants who are unable to fully commit to the stated working hours due to other obligations are advised not to apply.
