As a Wedding Assistant Manager, you will sell activities and weddings in line with annual sales and marketing plan, achieve and exceed budget. Set sales strategy and monitor results to ensure they are achieved. You will be solely in charge of hunting for wedding leads and converting them for our hotel.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Liaise and maintain a relationship with other departments to ensure effective, efficient and smooth running of Weddings.
- Plan and meet Prospective Clients for show-arounds for weddings.
- Be present to assist and accompany guest during event or if and when required.
- Anticipate and actively respond to guest queries.
- Convert Wedding leads to business to exceed budget for Catering Sales
- Monitors competitors’ activities, assists in marketing intelligence, market research and analyse the impact of sales mix on hotel goals
- Provide direction and implement new ideas that will assist to maximise and develop the Wedding business
- Execute advertisements/ promotions relating to Weddings in a timely manner by Coordinating with our Marketing team.
- Operate and maintain a system for responding, coordinating and tracking sales enquiries, booking and availability.
- Ensure a prompt and professional response or follow-up to wedding enquiries.
- Research competitors on Wedding Trends, offerings and pricing to remains competitive in the marketplace.
What we need from you
- A minimum qualification in Diploma
- Minimum 1 years of related Sales or Customer related experience.
