Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Sales & Market Development
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets and drive growth across key industries including Semiconductor, Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Defence, and Industrial Machinery.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both domestic and export markets through market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend evaluation.
- Set competitive pricing strategies align with market dynamics and internal cost structures.
- Led tender and RFQ processes, overseeing pricing, documentation, and compliance to secure contracts and achieve continuous tender awards.
- Proactively expand sales pipeline through active client engagement and new lead generation.
2. Client Relationship & Account Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with OEMs, contract manufacturers, and key customer accounts to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular client meetings, site visits, and technical presentations to address evolving requirements and reinforce customer partnerships.
- Manage customer order fulfilment and master production scheduling to ensure on-time delivery (OTD) and quality compliance.
- Oversee account receivables, mitigate inventory risks, and ensure financial health of key accounts.
- Gather and relay customer feedback to internal teams to support continuous improvement and customer-centric solutions.
3. Technical Sales Support & Quotation Management
- Review technical drawings and collaborate with engineering and production teams to prepare accurate quotations and lead time estimates.
- Provide guidance on part manufacturability optimization.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and commercial agreements with customers to close deals and secure long-term contracts.
- Liaise with sister company GD Precision Sdn Bhd for subcontracting and coordination of component manufacturing.
4. Marketing, Branding & Distributor Management
- Plan and execute marketing initiatives, including digital campaigns, trade shows, promotional events, and industry exhibitions to boost brand visibility and lead generation.
- Represent the company at networking functions and industry events to promote capabilities and expand market reach.
- Direct distributor network performance through product training, sales enablement, and performance tracking.
- Supervise product registration processes and ensure timely regulatory compliance for market entry.
- Manage distributor agreements, renewals, and SLAs to maintain strong partnerships and contractual adherence.
5. Operational Excellence & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Spearhead process improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and housekeeping practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Integrate production plans and sales forecasts into ERP systems to streamline workflows and improve delivery performance.
- Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to align production capacity with customer expectations.
- Facilitate smooth transitions from New Product Introduction (NPI) to volume production stages with cross-functional alignment.
6. Risk Management & Regulatory Compliance
- Identify and mitigate operational and commercial risks including schedule delays, EOL product issues, and material obsolescence.
- Ensure compliance with international and industry-specific standards throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle.
- Conduct risk analysis and implement preventive measures to ensure delivery reliability and contractual obligations.
7. Leadership, Reporting & Strategic Planning
- Led, train, and motivate sales and program management teams to achieve departmental goals and high performance.
- Develop and present sales forecasts, performance dashboards, and business reports to senior management.
- Champion company initiatives and program team efforts to meet budget forecasts and strategic objectives.
- Perform Other ad-hoc task as assigned by superior/management from time to time

- Achieve yearly sale revenue target set annually
- Reduce internal reject and customers’ rates.
- Achieve profitability target set annually
