2-year Cargo Officer Trainee Program
A. 6 Months Training Period (Bunker Cargo Officer Trainee)
During the first 6 months, the trainee will undergo an on-the-job training by our experienced bunker cargo officers and cargo superintendent, and also sent for external training and certification in respect of the SS 648 : 2024 and SS 600 : 2014. The working schedule would usually be 3 days on board and 3 days shore leave, subject to training requirements and the vessels’ schedules.
The trainee shall receive a monthly package of: The trainee shall receive a monthly salary of SGD 2,500 and a monthly allowance SGD 500.
B. 7th to 18th Month (Junior Bunker Cargo Officer)
Upon satisfactory completion of the training period (as well as obtaining the required certification), the trainee will be promoted to the position of Junior Bunker Cargo Officer. In this role, he or she is expected to perform his or her functions independently or with minimal supervision.
Along with the promotion, the officer shall receive an increased remuneration package:
The junior officer shall receive an increased remuneration package of SGD 3,500 (salary and allowance).
C. Completion of 2Year Bond (Bunker Cargo Officer)
Upon completion of the 2year program with the company, suitable candidates will be offered the position as a full fledged bunker cargo officer.
The officer shall receive an increased remuneration package: The bunker cargo officer shall receive an increased remuneration package of SGD 4,500 (salary and allowance).
