We are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Chef to join our in-house club’s dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will lead kitchen operations, uphold the highest standards of quality and hygiene, and deliver exceptional dining experiences to our members.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations in close collaboration with the General Manager
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely service
- Prepare and cook meals for club members
- Design and propose refreshed menus on a regular basis
- Manage kitchen stock, equipment maintenance, and overall cleanliness
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Mentor and develop assistant chefs, broadening their skills across different cuisines
- Collaborate with the culinary team to deliver a seamless dining experience
- Proficiency in preparing Chinese, Asian & Western cuisines
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Chef in a reputable hospitality establishment
- Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Positive attitude and proactive work approach
- Possess WSQ Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate
