1. Client Relationship Management
Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of client companies.
Provide professional advice to clients on corporate governance, regulatory obligations, and statutory compliance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with directors, shareholders, and stakeholders of client entities.
2. Corporate Secretarial Services
Manage the full suite of company secretarial duties for local and international entities, including:
Company incorporations and business registrations.
Preparation and filing of annual returns, board resolutions, and statutory forms.
Maintenance of statutory registers and records.
3. Board and Meeting Support
Organize board meetings and AGMs for clients.
Prepare agendas, board packs, and draft minutes of meetings.
Ensure timely execution and filing of board resolutions.
4. Regulatory Compliance
Ensure client companies comply with relevant laws and regulations (e.g., Companies Act, ACRA, FATCA, CRS, etc.).
Monitor compliance deadlines and proactively remind clients to take required actions.
Handle routine and complex filings with regulators.
5. Team Management & Quality Control
Supervise a team of corporate secretarial executives and assistants.
Review work produced by the team for accuracy and compliance.
Provide training, mentoring, and performance management.
6. Process Improvement & Documentation
Streamline and improve corporate secretarial processes and use of digital tools (e.g., entity management systems).
Ensure proper documentation of procedures, templates, and client records.
7. Billing & Engagement Oversight
Oversee client billing, timesheets, and engagement profitability.
Review scope creep and recommend fee adjustments where needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Business, Law, or related field.
At least 5–8 years of corporate secretarial experience, including team leadership.
Strong knowledge of local company law and regulatory bodies (e.g., ACRA, MAS).
Excellent client servicing, multitasking, and communication skills.
