- Drill and tap base frames for mechanical equipment installation.
- Utilize mechanical tools, such as magnetic drills, grinders, and wrenches, to perform tasks.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct inspections and testing of mechanical equipment to ensure proper function and safety.
- Follow safety and health procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Education
- NITEC / Higher NITEC / Trade Certificate in Mechanical, Piping, or Marine Engineering.
Specialized knowledge /experience
- Experience with mechanical tools: pipe threaders, grinders, alignment tools.
- Basic knowledge of drilling systems or mud equipment (advantageous but not mandatory).
Accreditation / certification
- Mechanical Joint Integrity certification (if required).
- Hydrotesting or pressure testing training/certification.
- Basic HSE certifications (e.g., Work at Height, Hot Work, Confined Space Entry).
