Roles & Responbilities:
- Manage the full tendering process, including reviewing tender documents, preparing cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and compiling tender submissions.
- Prepare valuations for interim progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts; liaise with clients or consultants for monthly claim submissions.
- Assess, compile, and negotiate claims for variations, loss, and expense to achieve timely settlement.
- Source, evaluate, and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- prepare recommendations for management approval.
- Prepare and issue subcontract and procurement documents, including handling necessary revisions with proper authorization.
- Assist in developing early-stage project budgets and detailed cost plans in line with client requirements.
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs and site measurements to support cost estimation and documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quantity surveying within the construction or M&E sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore construction regulations and project cost estimation.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, or other surveying tools).
