We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Manager to oversee curriculum development and training initiatives, including designing, developing, and delivering impactful trainings. Given the fast-evolving work environment, this role will manage multiple projects, ensuring timely execution and driving efficiency in a high-paced setting. Strong project management skills are essential to track timelines, milestones and deliverables, ensuring all initiatives are completed on schedule while upholding high-quality standards[What you will be working on]
Community Engagement
Drive career practitioners’ growth and engagement through digital and physical engagement initiatives.
Plan, coordinate and execute engagement sessions, networking events, and online discussion forums for career practitioners.
Develop and implement strategies to maintain active participation and facilitate professional discussions.
Create, curate and maintain valuable content and a repository of resources for community digital platforms and capability development.
Build and maintain relationships with subject matter experts and community leaders.
Pilot, implement and review the effectiveness of continuing professional development programmes for career practitioners.
Research and develop engaging content for bulletins and newsletters tailored to career practitioners.
Project Management
Manage multiple projects from initiation through completion, including project planning, coordinating project activities, and managing resource and stakeholders to effectively ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Develop proposals and create presentation materials.
Proactively identify potential project challenges and independently implement solutions to ensure smooth project progress.
Track project timelines, milestones and deliverables.
Curriculum Development and Training
Create engaging learning materials, like presentations, e-learning modules and case studies.
Conduct comprehensive online, hybrid, and in-person training programs to enhance career practitioners' skills, knowledge and competencies.
Create engaging learning environments and utilise new teaching tools or technologies to enhance learners’ knowledge, practical skills, and professional capabilities.
Apply adult learning principles to deliver interactive and impactful training sessions and customise training approaches to meet diverse learning needs for optimal learning outcomes.
Design metrics and assessment tools to evaluate training program effectiveness and recommend improvements or updates of training materials and teaching aids, ensuring continuous development of engaging content.
Evaluate the career development landscape and keep abreast of industry practices and standards.
Research and review CDF framework and curricula, adopting a strategic approach to ensure alignment with national standards and best practices.
Integrate emerging career development trends, technology, and teaching methodologies into curricula and course design to enhance learner outcomes.
Ensure the curricula align with organisational goals and CDF frameworks, integrate learning objectives and achieve learners’ outcomes.
Propose new course content, instructional materials, and learning activities that are relevant, engaging and innovative.
Ensure curricula meet accreditation requirements, regulatory standards and institutional policies.
[What we are looking for]
Requirements:
At least 6 years of relevant and demonstrated experience in programme development and implementation, with a proven track record in managing end-to-end projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
Community engagement: Able to engage community, digitally and physically, and align initiatives with industry needs.
Project management: Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
Training & facilitation: ACTA/ACLP certified with at least 3 years of experience facilitating adult learning and conducting assessments. Possess a strong understanding of adult learning principles with a demonstrated ability to adapt training content for different delivery modes (online, hybrid, and in-person).
Industry & research expertise: Possess a strong understanding of workforce dynamics and programmes. Able to conduct research and transform complex research findings into practical, innovative learning solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
Stakeholder management: Able to engage professionally across all organisational levels and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Communication: Able to write and communicate clear reports and content, and frame and present appropriate narratives to suit different target audiences to achieve communications objectives.
Critical thinking and problem-solving: Able to analyse and synthesise latest industry practices and standards, to draw insights and recommend refinements to training and learning content and problem-solve by identifying and evaluating practical solutions.
Adaptability & resourcefulness: Able to adapt to dynamic, non-routine, and unpredictable work environments while maintaining efficiency and effectiveness. Able to respond to shifting priorities and business needs, adjusting project plans accordingly.
Personal effectiveness: Able to meet timelines for content development and preparation of presentations, contribute to high-quality deliverables, and proactively manage workload to ensure efficiency and accuracy in execution.
Additional professional certification/training (advantageous): Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) or Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP). or Certification and/or experience in career development facilitation, human resource, psychology, counselling and/or coaching.
