Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients under your care, both within the Day Activity Centre (DAC) and during community outings.
- Implement, monitor, and evaluate individual Care Plan Goals for each client.
- Support clients in developing and enhancing their daily living, community living, social, and interpersonal skills.
- Foster client independence and help them achieve a higher level of emotional maturity.
- Build strong partnerships with caregivers to better understand and support clients’ needs and development.
- Maintain detailed records and clear communication on client progress.
Requirements
- Relevant experience working with Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), especially individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, or epilepsy.
- Good command of English – both written and spoken.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Friendly, sociable, and able to connect well with clients and team members.
- Proactive, resourceful, and highly organized.
- Adaptable, willing to learn, and capable of working independently and in a team.
- Most importantly, you bring passion, enthusiasm, and a genuine commitment to empowering others.
